The New Balance ABZORB 2010 is a new silhouette born from a specific nostalgia. Inspired by the 99X series runners from the early 2000s — particularly the 990 — it inherits the structured diamond mesh and suede and nubuck overlays of its predecessors, but places them on a sole that is uniquely its own: the oversized segmented ABZORB unit, a true centerpiece of the design. Its visible and oversized compartments revisit a technology that equipped many flagship models of the 2000s, bringing it to a new level of expressiveness.

The ABZORB SBS in the heel and forefoot absorbs impacts through a combination of cushioning and compression resistance. The translucent Stability Web TPU shank in the midfoot ensures structural stability.
