Born from the Merrell Test Lab (MTL) after five years of development and over 13,000 miles of field testing, the MTL SpeedARC Peak is Merrell's most technical trail running shoe ever. Its core: the SpeedARC cushioning system, a three-layer construction combining two distinct FloatPro foams with a carbon plate (Carbon Fibre FlexPlate) inserted between them. This plate, with a forked design at the forefoot, allows each side of the foot to move independently to adapt to uneven terrain while providing clear propulsion during the push-off phase.
